WhatsApp owned by Facebook, now known as “Meta”, is an instant messaging app with chat, voice and video calling features. The instant messaging app often tests out new features, although it takes sometime to finally bring the functionality for users.

Earlier this year, WhatsApp added voice and video call features for the desktop App. Later on, WhatsApp brought improvements to the voice calling that had included various options to mute calls, add other persons when you are already on call.

According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is recently spotted testing a new interface for voice calls. The new interface appears to be more compact and modern. Also, to bring improvements for both one-to-one and group calls. As per the reports, the new interface will be seen on future updates of both Android and iOS versions of WhatsApp.

However, the there is no any information on when the new interface will be available, as it is yet to roll out for the beta testers. So, it looks WhatsApp users have to wait to try the new interface for the voice calls.
